OAuth applications
Build an app that users of any Trabalance business can connect.
Navigate to: dashboard.trabalance.com/developer → Register
Email, password (8+ characters), your name and company. We send a verification link; you can sign in straight away, but creating an application needs a verified address.
Name, description, website, and one or more redirect URIs — where users return after they authorise. You receive a client ID, a client secret (shown once) and a webhook signing secret.
https://dashboard.trabalance.com/oauth/authorize?client_id=…&redirect_uri=…&response_type=code&state=… — a signed-in user sees a consent screen listing what your app may do; a signed-out user is asked to sign in first and returned to it.
See Authorization flow.
What the developer portal gives you
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Settings | Name, description, website, redirect URIs, webhook URL. Deactivate the app. |
| Credentials | Client ID, regenerate the client secret, the webhook signing secret, and a ready-made authorisation URL. |
| Tokens | One row per business with a live token: scopes, request count, last used, expiry. Revoke all. |
| Webhooks | Subscribe to events; every delivery to your webhook URL is logged with status, attempt and error. |
| Audit | Every credential event on the app: created, secret regenerated, tokens revoked, subscriptions changed. |
You do not need an OAuth app. Ask that business's Super Administrator for an API key.
