An Employee's Payment History
Every payment one person has received, and the payslip behind each of them.
Employee → Payment History answers "what have we actually paid this person, and when". It is built from approved pay runs only, newest pay date first.
The table
| Column | Notes |
|---|---|
| Schedule | The run this payment came from, with its reference. |
| Period | The period the pay covered. |
| Pay date | The date the person was paid. This is what the list is ordered by. |
| Gross | Total earnings for the period. |
| Deductions | Total deductions. |
| Tax | Total tax. |
| Net | What the person received. |
| Status | As the backend returned it at the time. |
Every figure is the one the backend computed when the run was posted. Nothing on this page is re-derived.
Narrowing it
One control per filterable column, and empty facets hide themselves.
| Control | Narrows |
|---|---|
| Period | Pay date range, through the standard period picker. |
| Status | A facet whose values come from the payments actually present. |
| Search | Schedule name or reference. |
Opening a payment
Tapping a row opens that payslip — the full breakdown for the period, in four sections:
| Section | Contains |
|---|---|
| Earnings | Every salary and allowance line, with a Total Earnings figure. |
| Deductions | Every deduction line, with a Total Deductions figure. |
| Taxes | Every tax line, with a Total Taxes figure. |
| Summary | Gross earnings, less deductions, less taxes — ending in Net Pay. |
Download payslip produces the PDF. It is the same builder and the same endpoint used for the bulk ZIP, the emailed attachment, and the copy the employee downloads themselves — one payslip format, everywhere.
A Benefit (non-cash) item — a company car, accommodation — is held on the employee and appears in payroll reporting, but it is deliberately left out of the payslip's Gross earnings, because it is not cash the person received. Cash compensation and allowances make up Gross.
Payment history is built from approved runs. A draft has not paid anybody, so it has nothing to show — look at the run itself instead.
The same data, from the employee's side
An employee on the Staff role sees exactly this information about themselves, presented as My payslips — the same approved runs, the same figures, the same PDF. They cannot see anyone else's.
