Unlink a client
What the Unlink action removes — and what it deliberately leaves alone.
Navigate to: partners.trabalance.com/clients → the bin icon on a client card, then confirm
What it removes
The link between that business and your partner account. That is all it touches.

| The business | Untouched. Its data, its users and its subscription carry on exactly as before. |
| The business owner | Unaffected. They keep their account and their books. |
| Commission already recorded | Kept. Existing records stay on your Commissions page. |
| Your user inside a licensed client | Not removed by this action. Ask the owner to remove it if the relationship has ended. |
⚠️There is no undo in the portal
Unlink deletes the link row. Re-establishing it is not something the portal offers — a referral cannot be re-attributed, and a licensed client cannot be re-registered because the business already exists. Ask Trabalance if you unlink one by mistake.
When to use it
When the relationship has genuinely ended: the client has moved on, or asked to be managed independently. It is not a way to tidy up a list — an inactive client already shows as inactive, and keeping the card keeps the history readable.
