Partner Portal
Partner Models
Refer, license, or both — and what actually differs between them.
Your partner account is not locked to a model. What decides how a client is treated is the link between you and that business, and one account can hold both kinds at once.
| Commission-based (referred) | License partner | |
|---|---|---|
| How the business arrives | They sign up through your link or code. | You register them from the portal. |
| What it costs you | Nothing. | One licence from a plan you pay for. |
| Who owns the subscription | The business. | You hold the licence; the business holds its own modules beyond the ledger. |
| What you earn | Commission recorded against the link, at the rate stored on it. | Whatever you charge the client. The link itself carries a rate of zero. |
| Account access | None. You are not a user in their business. | Administrator, and one-click switch-in. |
| Prerequisite | A partner account. | A partner account and an active licence plan. |
ℹ️What is identical
The portal, the login, the partner code, the credit balance and the Clients page are the same for both. The difference is entirely in the link.
Choosing
Refer when the business will run its own books and you want a share of what they pay. License when you are the finance function — you keep the books, and you bill for that.
Commission-based
Share a link. Commission is recorded against each business you brought in.
License partner
Buy licences, register clients, and work inside their books.
