Planner

The Plan Committee

A per-plan roster with four roles. Budgets are agreed by groups of people, and the committee is where that group is recorded.

A plan usually belongs to more than one person — the person who built it, the person who owns the number, and the people who have to sign it off. The Committee tab records that group and what each of them may do.

The Committee tab: the roster, the role picker, and the Add Member panel.

The Roster

Open a plan and choose the Committee tab. Each member is one row: their initial, their name, their email, a role picker, and a remove button. When the plan has no members yet the tab explains it — "No one on the committee yet. Anyone you add can view, comment, edit or own this plan based on their role."

Adding Someone

1
Press Add Member

A panel opens with a search box and the list already populated with your business team.

2
Find the person

Search matches their name or their email. The list is the same set of people Settings shows under your team.

3
Choose a role

Viewer, Commenter, Editor, or Owner — each is shown with its one-line description.

4
Add to committee

The row appears in the roster immediately.

Adding the same person again with a different role updates their role rather than creating a second row.

CommenterEverything a Viewer can, plus post comments.
EditorEverything a Commenter can, plus set targets and upload attachments.
OwnerEverything an Editor can, plus manage the committee, control sharing, and delete.

Change a role from the picker on the row — it takes effect immediately, with no save step. Remove a member with the bin icon; the app asks to confirm first.

⚠️A committee role does not by itself grant entry to the Planner

The plan page, the plan list, and the grid are open to Administrators and Super Administrators only. Adding a person with another business role to a committee records the intent, but they will not be able to open the plan. Give them an administrator role in the business if they need to work on it. See Access and committee roles.

ℹ️Membership can also sit on a single row

Roles can be held on a whole plan or on one target row. The higher of the two applies, and a role held on the plan reaches every row inside it.
