Operations Reports

What you have, where it is, what it costs: inventory, valuation, production, fixed assets and projects.

The Operations category holds 27 reports across inventory, production, fixed assets and projects. Inventory figures — quantity on hand, value, weighted-average cost, movement — come from the single inventory engine that every stock screen reads, so a quantity on a report is the same quantity the item page shows. Operations reports filter by Item and Center; project reports also filter by Customer and Project. Most offer no grouping.

The full list with paths and grants is on Report catalog.

Operations reports: the item and center filters, Stock Reconciliation and its measure, the exception cards, the Inventory Summary and project profitability.

ℹ️Quantities across items are never headlined

A total quantity summed across items measured in different units is not a number, so the hub cards for stock levels, low stock and out of stock headline value and counts rather than a summed quantity. The full reports show quantity per item.

Rows on the inventory reports link to the item's inventory page; on Stock Reconciliation the rows are statement lines and do not link.

Production

  • Production Summary — batches, total output, total cost and average cost per unit for the period; on the hub the card shows material, labour and total cost by batch count.
  • Production by Item — output and cost per product with unique items and batch counts.
  • Top Produced Items — items ranked by output quantity, with cost and batches.

Rows link to the item. For the production process see Operations → Production.

Fixed Assets

  • Fixed Assets Summary — assets by category with purchase cost, accumulated depreciation and book value. Filter by Center.
  • Asset Depreciation — the depreciation schedule: cost, period depreciation, accumulated depreciation and book value per asset.
  • Asset Disposal — disposed assets with proceeds and gain or loss on disposal.

Rows link to the asset. See Operations → Fixed Assets.

Project reports accept Customer, Center and Project filters; Project Summary also accepts User.
