The Target Row Page
One row, one period, in full — pace, the rate needed to finish on target, a projection, and the change history for that line.
Every breakdown line on a plan's Overview opens a page of its own. It is the smallest unit the Planner works in: one item, account, or employee, in one period.
Getting There
Expand a period card or a row card on the plan's Overview and click a line in the breakdown. A View Full Plan link at the top of the page takes you back.
The Header
The row's name, its plan type, the period dates, and the grid-column type, with four actions:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Share | Copies a public read-only link to this one target to the clipboard. |
| Edit | Opens a form for this target line — the figure, the period, and the metric. |
| Delete | Asks to confirm, then removes this target line from the plan. This is the only way to take a target off a plan. |
| View Full Plan | Returns to the plan this row belongs to. |
Metric Cards
One card per metric — value, and units on a Quantity × Rate plan. Each shows the actual, the target beneath it, a progress bar, the attainment percentage, and how much is still to go. "Remaining" never goes negative: once the target is met it reads zero.
The Six-State Status
This page carries a richer status than the rest of the Planner, because it knows the pace as well as the position.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Exceeded | Actual is 100% of target or more. |
| Achieved | Actual is 95% to 99% of target. |
| On Track | Below 95%, but the projected total for the period reaches 90% or more. |
| At Risk | Below 95%, and the projection lands between 70% and 89%. |
| Behind | Below 95%, and the projection lands under 70%. |
| Missed | The period has ended below 95%. Only appears once the period is over. |
Once the period ends, pace stops mattering: the outcome is Exceeded, Achieved, or Missed on the actual alone.
Everywhere else in the Planner — the plan cards, the period cards, the row cards — colour comes from attainment alone, in five bands starting at 80%. This page adds pace and uses six states starting at 95%. The same row can read At Risk at 65% on the plan Overview and On Track here, because it is on pace to finish. Neither is wrong; they answer different questions.
Pace and Projections
| Row | How it is worked out | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Daily Run Rate | Actual ÷ days elapsed in the period. | The pace achieved so far. |
| Required Rate | Amount remaining ÷ days left in the period. | The pace needed from today to finish on target. |
| Projected Total | Daily run rate × the full length of the period. | Where today’s pace lands by period end. |
| Projected % | Projected total as a percentage of target. | The figure that decides On Track, At Risk, or Behind. |
Read the first two together. A required rate close to the run rate means the target is reachable without changing anything; a required rate at twice the run rate means it is not, and the sooner that is said out loud the better.
Both are shown for value and, on a Quantity × Rate plan, for units — so you can see whether the gap needs more units or a better price.
History
The History tab lists changes to this target line: who, when, and a field-by-field before and after for each edit. Entries are marked Created, Updated, or Deleted.
Changes typed into the plan grid and written with Save Changes do not produce history entries. A target that has only ever been maintained from the grid shows "No history yet" — that is accurate, not a fault.
