Saved Views
Save a report's period, filters, grouping and units under a name, and get back to it in one tap — from the report or from the Templates page.
A report you read every Monday is the same report with the same five decisions made every time. Templates stores those decisions under a name so the second reading costs one tap instead of five.
Save the Current View
Period, comparison columns, grouping, measure, units and every filter. Whatever is on screen is what gets stored.
The menu lists Saved views for this report above a name field.
Enter also saves. The view appears in the list immediately.
| Stored | Not stored |
|---|---|
| The from and to dates, exactly as set | The chart or table you were viewing — that is remembered separately, across all reports |
| The comparison breakdown | Anything about who you are — a view re-applies inside your own boundary |
| Group by and Measure | The report you saved it from is fixed; a view cannot be moved to another report |
| Units | |
| Every entity filter — customer, vendor, item, center, project, user, action, module |
Because the dates are stored literally, a view named Last month keeps pointing at the month you saved it in. Saved views are shortcuts to a fixed reading, not rolling windows — for a report that rolls forward on its own, create a schedule instead.
Apply and Delete
Open Templates and pick a name: every stored parameter is re-applied at once and the report refetches. Each entry carries a delete icon that removes it without confirmation.
Saving a name that already exists on this report does nothing — the existing view is kept rather than duplicated, so a list can never hold two entries called Month end.
The Templates Page
Administrators can see every saved view in one place. From the catalog view of Reporting, press Templates to open Report templates — Saved views — period, filters, grouping — one tap back into any report.
| Element | What it does |
|---|---|
| A row | The view name above the report it belongs to. Pressing it opens that report with every stored parameter applied. |
| Delete | Removes that view. When a report loses its last view it disappears from the list. |
| Reporting | Returns to the Reporting landing. |
| Empty state | No saved templates yet — Open any report and use Templates → Save current view. |
Templates are stored on your device, per report — not on the server. They do not follow you to another computer, they are not shared with colleagues, and clearing your browser's site data removes them. Nothing else is affected: deleting a view deletes a shortcut, never a figure.
To give a colleague the same reading, send them the report's link — the period and filters are in the address — or build a composed report, which is stored on the server against your account.
