Business Details
Configure your company's name, industry, home currency, registration number, tax ID and registered address — these fields appear on documents and drive currency handling.
Navigate to: Settings → Company → Business → Legal identity and Registered address and contact panels
Business details are the foundational identity fields for your account. They print on the documents your business generates and set the home currency every figure is kept in. Set these carefully at the start — changing the currency later has system-wide effects.

Your currency should be set correctly before you begin entering any financial data. Changing it after transactions have been posted invalidates existing ledger balances and report figures. If you need to change it after going live, contact Trabalance support — this requires a data migration.
Setting a home currency does not prevent you from transacting in other currencies. Any invoice, bill or receipt can be raised in another currency with its own exchange rate, chosen on the document itself. See Foreign Currency. The home currency is what you report in — not necessarily what you transact in.
